Did you ever fit in? You tried to. No one could say you didn't try but you possessed something the others didn't have. A conscience worth listening to, intelligence and empathy, a knowing that came from deep within. Actually that's the reason you seemed older than all the rest. very pretty! the title caught me right away. I really enjoyed reading this.

I loved how the song became the narrator's voice. This whole poem is such a strong idea! There was lots of very strong imagery.
